One of the broodmares died after giving birth, and the foal lived. Newborn foals will not survive without companionship so my parents have rented a pygmi goat named Jasmine. She loves the foal....and she also loves kids!! I had no idea you could rent a goat!!? <br /><br />We had a really fun afternoon. The kids took turns walking Jasmine, Cooper took everyone for a ride on the ranger, and we walked in the woods. While the kids were playing on the swingset Jasmine would stand guard and watch for Tessa (my brother Drew's black and tan coondog). If Tessa would get to close little Jasmine would run at Tessa and butt her out of the way. Soooooo funny to watch. Jasmine doesn't even come up to my knees, and big Tessa stands about to my waist. Jazzy (as the kids call her) must think Tessa is a threat (even though she loves the kids too).Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-27701019365842340922009-04-02T13:53:00.001-07:002009-04-02T13:53:36.438-07:00the Farm<embed style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 320px" name="flashticker" align="middle" src="http://widget-16.slide.com/widgets/slideticker.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" quality="high" scale="noscale" salign="l" wmode="transparent" flashvars="cy=bb&il=1&channel=288230376172160022&site=widget-16.slide.com"></embed> <div style="WIDTH: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: left"><a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=288230376172160022&map=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-16.slide.com/p1/288230376172160022/bb_t016_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide1.gif" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=288230376172160022&map=2" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-16.slide.com/p2/288230376172160022/bb_t016_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide2.gif" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=288230376172160022&map=F" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-16.slide.com/p4/288230376172160022/bb_t016_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide42.gif" border="0" /></a></div>Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-1416251894389865502009-03-24T12:08:00.000-07:002009-03-26T16:20:54.135-07:00Modeling for Daddy<span style="font-family:georgia;">YEAH!!!! Not sure why we don't have them done more often...I mean, all I have to do is be sweet to the photographer and he does his thing!! Actually I don't even have to do that, he's the one that tells me when they need to be done.....I'm really very bad about being on a schedule. Her job, when cleaning the bathroom is the mirror - which she has never really gotten into until this past week. Off she ran to get her cleaning supplies, and continued to climb up onto the counter and cleaned away. </span></div><div></div><div>Sorry for the lack of clothing that she doesn't have on. It's <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">sooooooo</span> the princess, very cute and a very big stinker....you can just see it in her eyes!!<br /><br />Miss Izzy has a hard time saying her "<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">f's</span>". Depending on the word, she either replaces the "f" with another letter or completely drops the "f" altogether. So, we were in the fabric store with my friends Sharon and Candy, and Izzy spots a quilt hanging with fish all over it, and proceeds to yell "look Sharon a bitch, all kinds of bitches". The whole store came to a stand still. I had to laugh - the look on all these women's faces was priceless. Of course, I said very loudly "Yes, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">hunny</span> look at all those fish. What colors are they?"<br /><br />This past Sunday it happened again. We were at my grandparents house after church for coffee, and Isabelle with her very active imagination, holds out her hand to my grandpa and says "look <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Opa</span>, I caught a bitch, you want to pet him? It's a small bitch so I have to throw him back". We went grocery shopping a few weeks ago, and as we were going down one of the aisles, she very politely asked if she could have black olives for being good. Weird, I know - what can I say the kids love vegetables. When we were home and putting away the groceries all she wanted, (when she wants something she's super determined to get it) was the darn black olives. So....we opened up the can and she went to town. She puts them on 5 fingers and then eats them off, then repeats. Before I knew it, she had eaten the whole can. Thought for sure we would have a sick little munchkin. We didn't, thank goodness!!</div><div> </div><div>(Oh - yes, I know we have been a-wall for quite some time. But coloring or playing play dough are two of her favorites. I was doing laundry downstairs this past week, and she wanted to stay upstairs and color. She got all her coloring stuff out, and set to work. I check on her every 15 minutes or so, and about the 3rd time I go up to check her she hands me this sticky note and says "Mommy I draw Daddy, Mommy and Izzy. Not Cooper - he's at school". How stinkin cute is this. We even have hair!!<br /><br />(I know Monet didn't draw/paint people....I reference him because I love those darn waterlilies).<br /><div></div>Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-19245185618580440392009-01-26T07:57:00.001-08:002009-01-26T08:43:44.000-08:00Happy Chinese New Year<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0E1xcUfKbJH4XYUNP045FrIA0rKI5IDTOVX9gnH0NpeNFz6427wdiLoLcBmcigyBmgvh0P-Mb83AE2_CFceQnJkYYLRhIOhmOv0796BEog8IuQ4nmVZKW9ARiKJzAkpTO_3hX90c3SiYu/s1600-h/images.jpg"></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizofRULp-h7widIL-j_YXDZxQHT1CW8umbowd6IjfNFlIJ5u_3PA3e_MCt9_9Y_V5CxL4H4U1fQ9RjFReOWBeQ3f7iehL0MFQtQBheLBhHbKgVeEm5aN1JLmqY74QnM09pHeqnrhLfoDGV/s1600-h/images+2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295632317422376306" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 77px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 96px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizofRULp-h7widIL-j_YXDZxQHT1CW8umbowd6IjfNFlIJ5u_3PA3e_MCt9_9Y_V5CxL4H4U1fQ9RjFReOWBeQ3f7iehL0MFQtQBheLBhHbKgVeEm5aN1JLmqY74QnM09pHeqnrhLfoDGV/s400/images+2.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div>The Year of the Ox!! Which I am (so is Ryan!!) Here is what the Chinese zodiac has to say about us Oxen:</div><div> </div><div></div><div>The Ox is the sign of prosperity in the Chinese Zodiac. The Ox in Chinese Astrology is not a bull. Solid and hard working, this powerful sign of Ox is a born leader. Being dependable, calm and modest, Oxen possess the ability to achieve great things in life. Strong-minded and highly intelligent, their balance and strenth inspire confidence. Lady Oxen have the tendancy to trust the wrong partner, so it is important to always get an outside opinion from someone they trust and who is wise before they make a commitment. Oxen usually have happy childhood without incident in their childhood and youth. Oxen may encounter difficulties in their marriage in their middle age. However, they usually are able to smooth them out and achieve peaceful and happy life in their older age.</div><div></div><div>People born in the Year of the Ox are highly intelligent, and most dependable. They work hard and enjoy helping others. They are born leaders, fearing neither responsibility nor rist. They need peace and quiet to work through his/her ideas. Once their mind is set, it is hard to convince them otherwise. They are conservative, honest, gentle, reliable, and inspire confidence from all around. They are truthful, loyal and committed to their friends and business partners. They work hard and like peace. Women are usually good wives who pay attention to their kid's education. They are easy to trust.</div><div> </div><div></div><div>Oxen are born leaders. They are intelligent, logical, calm, modest, solid, dependalbe, resolute, and hard working. They have keen eye for detail and an admirable work ethic. They are usually quiet, but they can be both articulate and eloquent when necessary. Trustworthy, truthful, caring, honest, and honorable. Oxen usually are very well liked by friends and family. They are good-hearted, loyal to friends, love humor, and make themselves a wonderfully strong, tender and affectionate companion. They are good listeners, unwilling to take sides until they know the whole story, and willing to provide steady and unbiased advice to others. Because they are reliable, fair, logical, and intelligent, Oxen are often rewarded with positions of authority and trust. They are often traditional.</div><div> </div><div></div><div>Oxen will do well in careers such as musicians, composers, writers, landlord, doctor, artist, soldier, farmer, chef, judge, broker, banker, gardener or religious organizer.</div><div> </div><div>An Ox man tends to be very faithful and will not have many serious partners in life. His humor and charm will make his right partner very happy. If his partner is devoted to their relationship, he will love dearly. Otherwise, he will show anger. Ox man makes a great father with his tender love, but firm on his final decisions. An Ox woman will make a charming, warm, and perfect wife if she is given the freedom to do what she wants. She loves to love with humor and laughter. She is trustworthy, very faithful, and expects the same from her partner. The Ox man could make a great companion for an Ox woman.</div><div> </div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>No, I did not make any of this up (for those of you who know me well!!), however it fits Ryan to a "T" don't you think? </div><div></div><div></div></div>Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-25021149606491039512009-01-25T17:21:00.000-08:002009-01-25T17:27:42.682-08:00Birthday PartyWe had the kids birthday party today, and we had a great time!! I believe he held his position with great honor and dignity, and what impresses me the most - he is a God fearing man that put our Lord before all. But in my repertoire of recipes I can pull off and actually be edible, is spaghetti. The kids love, love, love it - and I love to watch them eat it. They attack it with such gusto, and to be truly honest, I love to hear "Mommy can we have more?". Why? Because it rarely happens!!<br /><br />Also this particular dinner was special, because after 3 days of having the flu, plus trying to pass a kidney stone, Ryan was actually hungry. Wednesday evening during dinner he told us he thought he had another stone (he just had one in early December), this time on the other side. Around 1am in the morning I called my mom to come over to watch the kids, and we made our first trip into the E.R. Our second trip was made at 11pm Thursday night. This time the wonderful E.R. doctor gave him some stronger <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">meds</span> to help cope with the pain. When I say "stronger", I mean knocked out - I checked him a few times to make sure he was still breathing strong. Holy smokes....good stuff!! He finally passed the damn thing late Saturday night, for which I am <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">soooooooo</span> grateful. Never having had one myself, I don't know the pain involved with having a kidney stone - but after watching him having to bear this (he has a high pain tolerance) I don't ever, EVER want to have one.<br /><br />(I did not take photos of Ryan enjoying the spaghetti, he didn't look up for it.......but he did have seconds too!!)Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-24986210488996954472009-01-18T15:04:00.000-08:002009-01-18T15:07:59.349-08:00<div><embed src="http://widget-a6.slide.com/widgets/slideticker.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" quality="high" scale="noscale" salign="l" wmode="transparent" flashvars="cy=bb&il=1&channel=288230376170869670&site=widget-a6.slide.com" style="width:400px;height:320px" name="flashticker" align="middle"></embed><div style="width:400px;text-align:left;"><a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=288230376170869670&map=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-a6.slide.com/p1/288230376170869670/bb_t013_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide1.gif" border="0" ismap="ismap" /></a> <a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=288230376170869670&map=2" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-a6.slide.com/p2/288230376170869670/bb_t013_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide2.gif" border="0" ismap="ismap" /></a> <a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=288230376170869670&map=F" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-a6.slide.com/p4/288230376170869670/bb_t013_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide42.gif" border="0" ismap="ismap" /></a></div></div>Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-893192804842387732009-01-14T13:10:00.000-08:002009-01-14T13:10:00.891-08:00Tagged<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCKH1CvaFkMqTVlPo_GVhMhc36SAHkiTx7ZPB_QE_0YCLAPTiAX9lAEXpZgeI-q_Cq0Prj7hKDAl1cCLXNmvVUNW6YTXkc-pDESvZVAzK8KVMg-FORUzfTVWYLZ0kLqW4j1S1MLJKQU4qv/s1600-h/DSC_6651.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290232337986395506" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 268px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCKH1CvaFkMqTVlPo_GVhMhc36SAHkiTx7ZPB_QE_0YCLAPTiAX9lAEXpZgeI-q_Cq0Prj7hKDAl1cCLXNmvVUNW6YTXkc-pDESvZVAzK8KVMg-FORUzfTVWYLZ0kLqW4j1S1MLJKQU4qv/s400/DSC_6651.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />I was tagged by Dusty to post the 4th photo in the 4th photo folder on my computer, and tell when and where it was taken. It happens to be of our cat Jack (a.k.a. Jackie, jack-o-lantern, jack-a-rama, or jackalope)(he's really named after Jack Bauer from Ryan and Cooper's favorite television show "24").<br /><br /><br />I believe Cooper took the photo, and I'm sure Jack was lounging on Cooper's bed. I having no story about this photo....sorry it's kind of boring!!<br /><br /><br /><br />I will however, tell a little about Jack. We adopted him from our local Petsmart about 2 years ago. He is a very sweet cat, loves attention, and is quite spoiled. He sleeps with Cooper every night, will only drink fresh water, and will lay on anything of importance!! He's a great addition to our family.Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-34030828355232532812009-01-11T17:28:00.000-08:002009-01-11T17:55:09.322-08:00the Birthday Girl3 years old already. Where does the time go?<br /><br />Last <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Thursday</span> was Isabelle's birthday, and we just hung out as a family. Where do you ask? Well, where else would we be but fabulous <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">McDonalds</span>!! The kids love our local <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">McDonalds</span> (Ryan's doesn't have a <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">playland</span> - or that for sure would be our favorite!!) they have a great indoor <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">playland</span>, and on a <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Thursday</span> night it's not at all crowded.<br /><br />Since both the kids have birthday's right on top of Christmas, we are always struggling to come up with imaginative ideas (since they will get birthday gifts from family, and we have to rent a <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">u-haul</span> to bring Christmas gifts home!!) Amazingly this year Libby Lu decided to close their doors, and were offering all of their makeovers at a wonderful deal.....PERFECT!!<br /><br />So, on Saturday morning the Princess, cousin Princess, 2 Princess mommy's and 1 Princess Grandma headed off to Libby Lu for a morning of hair, nails and makeup. The girls loved it! I have to say it again, they LOVED it. They were so darn cute sitting there having makeup put on, choosing their own hairstyle, and getting sparkles everywhere. After the makeover was complete, they where given the chance to stand in front of the store and sing a song....complete with moves and a microphone (the title of the song <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7">eludes</span> me, but it was of course a Hannah Montana song)!! Holy smokes, maybe the cutest thing I have seen in a long time.<br /><br />Our sweet girl loves anything to do with wands, princesses, nail polish, babies or anything her brother has!! She is usually fiercely independent, and if she doesn't want to do something......she's just not going to do it (unless you bribe her with something <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8">sparkly</span>!!). She loves to hang out with Cooper, loves to help Mommy with most anything, and prefers Daddy to tuck her in at night. We love you baby girl, and pray you are blessed with many more birthdays!Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-68346820924467139712009-01-11T17:20:00.000-08:002009-01-11T17:26:19.449-08:00<div><embed src="http://widget-43.slide.com/widgets/slideticker.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" quality="high" scale="noscale" salign="l" wmode="transparent" flashvars="cy=bb&il=1&channel=288230376170844995&site=widget-43.slide.com" style="width:400px;height:320px" name="flashticker" align="middle"></embed><div style="width:400px;text-align:left;"><a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=288230376170844995&map=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-43.slide.com/p1/288230376170844995/bb_t024_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide1.gif" border="0" ismap="ismap" /></a> <a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=288230376170844995&map=2" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-43.slide.com/p2/288230376170844995/bb_t024_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide2.gif" border="0" ismap="ismap" /></a> <a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=bb&at=un&id=288230376170844995&map=F" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-43.slide.com/p4/288230376170844995/bb_t024_v000_s0un_f00/images/xslide42.gif" border="0" ismap="ismap" /></a></div></div>Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-41095419940581004942009-01-05T16:28:00.000-08:002009-01-05T16:49:46.756-08:00EIGHT!!!!!!Cooper turned eight years old on December 30<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">th</span>!! EIGHT......UNBELIEVABLE. Is he not the most handsome boy you have ever seen?!!<br /><br />I always feel he is getting the shaft because his birthday is so close to Christmas. This year family came over, he got a few gifts and had cupcakes!! His big party will be in a few weeks (with Izzy's...again, he's kind of getting the shaft huh?)<br /><br />It seems, all of the sudden he's not a little boy anymore. He is growing up way too fast. He's playing video games, he wants privacy, and has actually had a pretty smart mouth in the past few months. He still however, is the sweetest - most <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">affectionate</span>, kind, compassionate child I know. The kids slept until 8:30am (YEAH!!), we opened gifts and later this afternoon Grandpa and Grandma Start, Uncle Matt and Aunt Tammie came over for a little dinner and to hang out with us. We had fun. Although we didn't see Cooper much. Santa brought the family an XBox and he got the Star Wars lego game........which he LOVES. He spent most of the afternoon and evening playing that game (with the help of Uncle Matt!!).<br /><br />We went to my parents house last night, and had a really good time! Isabelle got her American girl bitty baby, which she named Gabby. She has changed her clothes 2 times today, and they are currently both tucked into bed!! <br /><br />We hope everyone had just as wonderful of a day that we did!!<br /><br />(P.S. - we missed you Uncle Ed, Aunt Robyn and Alexander. Have a safe trip tomorrow, we can't wait to see you!!)Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-90591512234688334662008-12-22T14:07:00.000-08:002008-12-22T14:07:00.522-08:00Santa baby!!!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBhOGwfvUMjQ1rdKxvZzDwwcaPILR1P1fTHD5g7-i4riMJzFe48vRtFPdY_ckOiXmr323N8ic7II7pssQepOUr_dFGZX5E9T2RoEtBz1t77U3DNm_MNS_U3xpVKGuKtEHzCPAbcWCT6Nmu/s1600-h/DSCF1355.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282304894432454898" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBhOGwfvUMjQ1rdKxvZzDwwcaPILR1P1fTHD5g7-i4riMJzFe48vRtFPdY_ckOiXmr323N8ic7II7pssQepOUr_dFGZX5E9T2RoEtBz1t77U3DNm_MNS_U3xpVKGuKtEHzCPAbcWCT6Nmu/s400/DSCF1355.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHPlDhmj3ilUDP404nXQvvN3iIAWTJrYn9SBB8uZylkAgtXgm1NiF0UF5yXEsYpjayRltQq52-iexjBL2SqSKVJlIzWdsGc5cu3kxDy5s2ZgIjZHbtMqLUfBQIaiDacn76eHjmemCA5gPC/s1600-h/DSCF1353.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282304882085005602" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHPlDhmj3ilUDP404nXQvvN3iIAWTJrYn9SBB8uZylkAgtXgm1NiF0UF5yXEsYpjayRltQq52-iexjBL2SqSKVJlIzWdsGc5cu3kxDy5s2ZgIjZHbtMqLUfBQIaiDacn76eHjmemCA5gPC/s400/DSCF1353.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb2V29A-Qzuk1NU61PQCOV1gpMlLZ1m2WzsODx7CjDq2vRZQJIF4_bIT9blSlol-sCmOUfRFwJMeF-eS60p6jIS9f_yhhsbc3eQ-H7Ifb1oFl0TG1gPZ-BpPTV22Tl3Wt6PYZtr0gfBblv/s1600-h/DSCF1357.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282304870422284610" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb2V29A-Qzuk1NU61PQCOV1gpMlLZ1m2WzsODx7CjDq2vRZQJIF4_bIT9blSlol-sCmOUfRFwJMeF-eS60p6jIS9f_yhhsbc3eQ-H7Ifb1oFl0TG1gPZ-BpPTV22Tl3Wt6PYZtr0gfBblv/s400/DSCF1357.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMvQvFhSxLxZSinLGj7jf6vjtqA4lSi8vewva3k0vr1Z0dcy4JD6gMxg0lYqWfs12ZhOIyITsqZaPX3Bu-Wo3iLYQPgSvTlfsyya9Afc4bSZy_23kSvoynTbMd_Iokpd1Wb1V63OQUIu87/s1600-h/DSCF1358.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282304860541277714" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMvQvFhSxLxZSinLGj7jf6vjtqA4lSi8vewva3k0vr1Z0dcy4JD6gMxg0lYqWfs12ZhOIyITsqZaPX3Bu-Wo3iLYQPgSvTlfsyya9Afc4bSZy_23kSvoynTbMd_Iokpd1Wb1V63OQUIu87/s400/DSCF1358.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyfbknFELDpb_AWz1bCsF403q6JiJJyDP81_hdSWUqG7L42c5ou8BH0p822PUXfie2BawPHgEGusxtrDVXeYuyk9VS91Nz0rMkB3UWkGEQBYHa45DDquRlEgdbDMgPJkgCvh620GXh1In6/s1600-h/DSCF1360.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282304853360790066" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyfbknFELDpb_AWz1bCsF403q6JiJJyDP81_hdSWUqG7L42c5ou8BH0p822PUXfie2BawPHgEGusxtrDVXeYuyk9VS91Nz0rMkB3UWkGEQBYHa45DDquRlEgdbDMgPJkgCvh620GXh1In6/s400/DSCF1360.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />We went to the mall this past Saturday to finish up our Christmas shopping, and because we have been promising the kiddos a visit with Santa we did that too!! We stood in line for 1 hour, crazy I know - but we had fun. We have had the same Santa for 4 years now, and I have to say he is the cutest darn Santa Claus around!! </div><div></div><div>As we were driving to the mall, Cooper was telling Isabelle that she had to tell Santa what she wanted for Christmas that way she would for sure get it!! (YIKES!!) Our whole conversation on the car ride was "Mommy, I see Santa too?" Yes, honey you too!! "With Cooper" Yes, with Cooper. "When can I see Santa Daddy?" In 15 minutes Isabelle. "Cooper, you see Santa with me?" Yes, me too. On, and on, and on. Until we actually get close to Santa, and then she was so very apprehensive. But, our brave little princess held her brothers hand and actually did it!! </div><div>A huge accomplishment for her.</div><div></div><div>I do have to note : 1. When did the cost of sitting on Santa's lap with a photo jump to $20....holy smokes, and 2. I'm not sure I will ever enter the mall again the weekend before Christmas (although there were some very good deals)!!</div><div><br /><br /><br /></div><div></div></div></div></div>Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6973943908286304449.post-28129449622815167222008-12-21T08:48:00.000-08:002008-12-21T09:41:38.020-08:00Snow weekend<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvnjhU_-9hSmZm9yZ4RrAcnJDU6w2tPAlVtq6tEe4sZCj5jHD2FmsN-6xQHmgT6GcTpYZugA6ewJbW1-Hxwy6_nQFFvPh0gyr4uao0bopj7oN6shRR1rv9dTIX3Yw4qn1G5UEBPtbEdxXO/s1600-h/DSCF1361.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282290441209359410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvnjhU_-9hSmZm9yZ4RrAcnJDU6w2tPAlVtq6tEe4sZCj5jHD2FmsN-6xQHmgT6GcTpYZugA6ewJbW1-Hxwy6_nQFFvPh0gyr4uao0bopj7oN6shRR1rv9dTIX3Yw4qn1G5UEBPtbEdxXO/s400/DSCF1361.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzeyeGNeHCo5-wiwlDbcWxn62W5cngEewT-ScpOEoOKyg6JzHE7MuB2zB7yEs6eRR0bfrNzem63e5uqzZP2TVUQ1j1unS5AbCFAu1cI9TLrctQKq1CWOgRK_T055_kKPsbCB_RelRyZQYc/s1600-h/DSCF1351.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282290431176078514" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzeyeGNeHCo5-wiwlDbcWxn62W5cngEewT-ScpOEoOKyg6JzHE7MuB2zB7yEs6eRR0bfrNzem63e5uqzZP2TVUQ1j1unS5AbCFAu1cI9TLrctQKq1CWOgRK_T055_kKPsbCB_RelRyZQYc/s400/DSCF1351.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrWyu9J5Yt8hf5stkdRcfvXyEk1ctf8XvR6CeaOkXirgFVzMqWfxCckb8RMvbAQaF4rvcCM7T_p0W5BnvYAtntzfPF1AnTIw46JSVsHYTj2oSDggvX3kaDHhaiTiF9wxLjXFHUb1ktfs6_/s1600-h/DSCF1346.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282290418263099186" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrWyu9J5Yt8hf5stkdRcfvXyEk1ctf8XvR6CeaOkXirgFVzMqWfxCckb8RMvbAQaF4rvcCM7T_p0W5BnvYAtntzfPF1AnTIw46JSVsHYTj2oSDggvX3kaDHhaiTiF9wxLjXFHUb1ktfs6_/s400/DSCF1346.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwfOvfCjA0Cn3Rrs4V-3Jywc2ouhBjHloLChiWhxCxuqft1QrcPwpZS6ZTisOuKSqDFEthpTj9fZhqw-76nxXvM3Uc5wavV828iSHUPcydz_c_aw77V2rVBVR_leQWhKUrOEcfVYDqT6Cf/s1600-h/DSCF1347.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282290404298093698" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwfOvfCjA0Cn3Rrs4V-3Jywc2ouhBjHloLChiWhxCxuqft1QrcPwpZS6ZTisOuKSqDFEthpTj9fZhqw-76nxXvM3Uc5wavV828iSHUPcydz_c_aw77V2rVBVR_leQWhKUrOEcfVYDqT6Cf/s400/DSCF1347.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Snow, Snow, Snow and more snow!!! We are having the best weekend!! No, I'm not kidding - I absolutely LOVE the snow. It started on friday (Cooper had a snow day). I attempted to take the kids to Grandpa Start so I could go to work....we got 2 miles from home and decided we were crazy to continue, so we went home!! We spent the day in our P.J.'s and watched movies. Yesterday (saturday) we went to the mall to finish our Christmas shopping (post to come soon!!), and the snow stayed away until late in the night when the wind picked up and the snow started again. </div><div> </div><div>The first photo is from out the door to our back porch. Usually we can see the Church in the background....not this morning!! (Just for reference - the church is about 100 yards from our back fence). The second photo is the path I dug for miss Violet. Which I didn't even have to do. After being stuck inside all day she plowed thru the snow like it wasn't even there!! The third is of the princess jumping off the coffee table onto the couch. Anyway, I couldn't find Isabelle and called for her and she yelled "I'm behind Daddy's chair mommy, eating my apple cone". She had one of the bell's off the Christmas tree with her apple in it.....eating it just like an "applecone". Where does she come up with this stuff??<br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Nicolehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01442850363528259854noreply@blogger.com2
