The day after Thanksgiving we went to Bosch's Christmas
Tree farm here in Allendale (we recommend this tree
farm highly....they have the best groomed trees around,
and the owner/staff are super friendly!!) We got it put
up and decorated that night. On Saturday the kids were
playing in Coopers room, and I was standing by the
kitchen island, and watched our perfectly beautiful tree
fall. Not only did the tree fall, but it took the water filled
stand with it. OH MY WORD, WHAT A MESS. After a
few words that I shouldn't have said in the first place, I
cried. 60% of all the ornaments were broken, and were
in tiny little pieces everywhere. The amazing thing is,
only 4 of the ornaments that broke are replaceable. The
ornaments from Russia and China are back on the tree,
and all in one piece. Anyway, here is a photo of the tree
minus most of our ornaments.....I swear every time I walk
past that evil thing it laughs at me!!!!

I think it is still a beautiful tree! We will have to check out Bosch's next year for a Christmas tree. We live in Grandville.

it still looks great! I'm so happy that you have a blog now :)
hee hee hee. if it makes you feel better we let ours go dry and then had to drill holes into it to convince it to drink. since it was still novemeber we figured we really needed that tree to keep taking water.
wish we could see your tree in person. soon. soon.
