This past sunday was Cooper's Christmas program at church. He did
fantastic. He loves going to church. Even more he loves going to
children in worship and sunday school after. Sunday morning's we
have a very specific routine......get ready for church, drop Isabelle off
in nursery (which lately has been a huge struggle....she has taken to
screaming and crying when we pull into the church parking lot. She
just doesn't want me out of her sight. Hopefully just a faze she is
going thru!!) After calming her down, up to church. Cooper goes to
children in worship during the sermon, and after church he goes to
sunday school. After sunday school we go to Opa and Oma's for
coffee. If any of this routine is missed, I will get a lot of grief from
him. Which is good I guess. I'm glad he enjoys church, because
I'm sure when his teenage years get here it will be different.
Miss Isabelle has yet to even attempt to sit in church. She just
doesn't have the patience for it (us either!!!) So we tried having
her in during the Christmas program. She did pretty well until
half way thru, and she had enough. Ryan brought her to the
nursery and they played until the program was finished.
(in the photos of Cooper they are singing "Away in the Manger"
his favorite next to the "little drummer boy". The little girl next
to him is also adopted from Russia.....they came home within 2
months of each other.)
