It has been so bitterly cold here for the past few weeks, and finally on saturday it was actually pretty nice outside. Ok - so, 30 f. isn't so nice, but after being 2 f. (with a wind chill of 10 f. below 0) we'll take it. The kids have been like caged animals, pacing back and forth telling me how bored they are. It's hard to find things to do to keep them busy. So when saturday rolled around Cooper bundled up and out he went. We hardly saw him all day. Poor miss Isabelle stood at the window and just had to watch. Thank you to Kendrah for the photos of the boys (she has been taking photos of our kids for the past week, and sending them to me!! Thank goodness because now I don't look like such a bad mom!!) Cole (who is in the 2nd photo with Cooper) is Cooper's best friend. He lives across the street, for which we are extremely grateful. What would we do without the DeYoung kids for entertainment? Not that Cooper hasn't given them a run for the money. I can laugh about it now (well sometimes), but when you have to go to the neighbors house with the checkbook, it's NOT a good thing!! Anyway, the boys are so stinkin cute together, they can fight like crazy, but when they finish each others sentences you know they are great friends. I also love the fact that Cole makes himself at home in our house (I REALLY do Kendrah). I am praying that the weather stays semi nice for a while, but as I write this it's snowing pretty hard outside and the forecast for later today is freezing rain mixed with snow...........Fantastic.
Caged animals....FINALLY free!!!
