We took the kids to the Double JJ ranch this past weekend, and had a great time!! We stayed in one of the Back 40 Family Cabins...the kids loved it!! The waterpark was of course, the biggest hit. Ryan wouldn't take his camera in, so no photos of that. Cooper was only tall enough to ride one of the waterslides, so we took turns taking him down that while the other would watch at the end of the slide with Isabelle. They had an area for toddlers, which Isabelle explored a little. She really loves water, but hates getting her head wet. (Makes washing her hair an adventure). There were these HUGE soaker guns that would go off, and if you aren't careful you would get drenched. Miss Izzy was hit with them a few times, and after the second time she was very hesitant about going near those areas.
They had an Old West town that had a small, sad looking petting zoo and one lone horse that the kids could ride (at your own risk.....but, must wear the helmet.) The poor thing just stood there, looking extremely defeated. I wanted to unsaddle him and let him run free. Nobody was around, so I led the kids around a small round pen. Don't worry, we made them put on this "bike helmet" that was stuck on the nearest post. It's funny, we have horses that we can ride pretty much anytime, but they both still thought it was great. Then we proceded back to our cabin where I made them wash their hair immediately!!!!!

Izzy sounds like a smart girl! I would avoid those soaker guns, too.
Jaiden hates water in her eyes but loves bubble baths...she didn't seem to care for the water park much last summer though, the water was pretty cold...and she has to have it a certain temperature...warm but not too warm...she will let me know if its not right...
They look so adorable on the horses, I swear Isabelle gets cuter every day and I just love those piggie tails!
Looks like fun! Love the pictures of Isabelle on the horse. :-) Add Mary Joyce to the list that likes water, but hates it in her eyes...
