Meet Ely (pronounced Eli) Nicholas Westdorp, Cooper and Isabelle's fourth cousin. Isn't he beautiful? (Cooper would be quick to correct me and tell me he's handsome - girls are beautiful)!
We were originally scheduled to go on vacation the week of August 10, but because my sister was due on August 13, and because her other two children were born 2 days after their due date we changed our vacation to the week after. Should have kept it the original week!!!! Of course, we left on sunday August 17 and on monday August 18 just before noon we get the phone call that she is in labor and at the hospital!! Anyway, to make a long story short - we got back into the car to drive back to Grand Rapids (2.5 hours away) to see the newest addition to our family. He is definitely worth the drive don't you think??
Oh - the princess wants a "real" baby too!! Her exact words were "Izzy needs baby too mommy". I told her we could visit Ely anytime she wants!!
