The princess and I went to Grand Haven last night to do a quick stop at Walmart before going to get pizza at Fricanos. (Yes, a long way to drive to get pizza....but Seth was home, and when Seth comes home we get Fricanos!!) Anyway, on the way home it was dark and Izzy was being very quiet so I asked her how she was doing. She replied "good, nothing mommy". Looking back this should have clued me into that she was doing something, because 1. she was being WAY to quiet, and 2. she told me she was doing nothing (which in Izzy talk, means I'm doing something - I just don't want you to know about it!!). So we get home, and I quickly run the pizza inside (the boys were hungry!!) and then went to get Isabelle, and found this!!! Holy smokes, just looking at these photos make me laugh. I brought her downstairs so she could say hi to Uncle Seth and Daddy and Isabelle says "Hi uncle seff, I'm beautiful"!! Again, she makes me laugh. Thank goodness it wasn't permanent marker!!

oh my, now that is toooo funny. When you were talking about pizza and seeing the orange my first thoughts were that she had painted herself with pizza sauce...what a surprise the guys would have gotten to open the pizza box to find little finger smudges all over it! Whatever did she paint herself with? She did a really nice job of the eyes, she must watch Mommy putting on makeup a lot. I don't think I get my eye makeup on that well sometimes.
That is too funny! At first I thought she got into the pizza box and smeared tomato sauce all over herself. Glad to hear it was *just* marker... cuz at least that means you got to eat the pizza.
I thought the same thing--pizza sauce. :-) I know what you mean about too quiet, though. That usually means something is happening.
