these are a few of my (Cooper's) favorite things......

Cooper has been getting up very early every day, and keeping himself occupied until Mom or Dad gets up. (When I say early, one morning it was 5:30am.......where he gets this "up early" business, I don't know. Not from Mom, that's for sure!!) We usually find him in his room playing or reading, or we will hear him getting himself breakfast. Anyway, a few weeks ago he came into our room on a saturday morning and handed me my camera and said, "Mom, I took some photos of my favorite things". So here they are. The first one is of course Cooper himself.....apparently we don't have any "self" issues. But then again, how could we seeing he's the cutest 7 year old boy on the planet!! (Maybe hearing this over and over could give some people a large ego...but surely not our Cooper!!!) The second is of Jack Bauer (our cat, who we adopted about 1 year ago). We were going to name him Chairman Mao (we have a dog named Boris Yeltsin), but he is Cooper's cat so he named him (Cooper's favorite TV show is 24). The third is of his Detroit Tigers foam claw.....GO TIGERS!! Finally, his Thunder Tumbler which he got for Christmas. About 2-3 hours after he threw the camera at me, and I tried to catch it in my comatose state he told me that Izzy would have had her photo taken too, but it was way to early to wake her up and he thought maybe I would have been upset!! What a smart kid!!

OK, I laughed our loud at everything. From Cooper taking a picture of himself as his favorite thing, to Jack Bauer (I didn't know that was his name) to Chairman Mao, to not waking Izzy up (because of course she is one of his favorite things). HA HA HA!!! Big squeezes to all my favorite people (all four of you, of course).

oh how cute! our boys share a love of photography too! Jared just did the same thing recently, going around his room taking photos but not sure if they were his favorite things or just random shots, they were pretty much all over. Cooper seems very focused, maybe he will follow in Dads footsteps?
